My name is Iosif (Joseph) Szenasi. I am a Romanian psychotherapist with Hungarian origins. I have been working in the field of psychotherapy for over a decade.

I’m an ordinary man. The same way some people are passionate about… anything else, I am passionate about self-knowledge and personal development and it is a great pleasure for me to work in this area.

Why self-knowledge and personal development?

Well, because there is no other way. I believe that one of our main purpose on this planet is evolution. Some people choose a road, others choose another; one way may be longer, another shorter, one way may be easier, another could pose serious difficulties, but ultimately we all seek the same thing: tranquility and peace of mind. To achieve this, it is necessary to truly know, practice and develop the qualities that we have.

Through the profession I practice I am offering a helping hand to those who ask for it. I am delighted to help people discover and enjoy the beauty of this world and this incredible time, which is the present.

A few words about my professional path

I always wanted to become a psychotherapist. That is why I started my professional path with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in psychotherapies and clinical psychology. In the same time I had training in psychotherapy through transactional analysis and some years after my first training I continued with my second traing through systemic family and couple therapy.

After that, I studied unofficially existential psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and coaching techniques. I have the firm believe that minimal studies are not enough if someone wants to do a great job, and over a decade of practice accumulated so far are not enough to make me believe that I already know everything. Nobody knows everything, we always have more to learn and practice.

I believe that lifelong learning is what increases the success rate of a mental health professional, which is why I am always in touch with the news in my field of work.
